(MARIETTA, OH)--Mount Union College's women's soccer team lost 4-0 at Marietta College in an Ohio Athletic Conference matchup Tuesday in Marietta, Ohio.

The loss officially eliminated the Purple Raiders from gaining a spot in next week's six-team OAC Tournament as they stand at 4-13-1 and 1-7 (3 pts.) in the OAC.  Marietta kept its tournament hopes alive with the win as the Pioneers are now 5-9-3 overall and 3-2-3 (12 pts.) in the OAC.

Marietta scored in the 15th minute to take a 1-0 lead and that was the score at halftime.  The Pioneers then put the game away with three scores in the second half at the 55th, 85th and 89th minutes.

Freshman Kelly Aughinbaugh (Aurora/Aurora) had team-best two shots for Mount Union.

The Raiders finish the season Saturday at 2 p.m. at Heidelberg College in Tiffin, Ohio.
