(ALLIANCE, OH)—Mount Union's women's soccer team suffered a 1-0 Ohio Athletic Conference loss to Otterbein College Wednesday at Mount Union Stadium in Alliance.

Mount Union goes to 4-8-1 overall and 1-3 in the OAC, while Otterbein improves to-10-1-1 overall and 3-1 in the OAC.

The game's only score happened just 11 seconds before halftime when Otterbein's Adrienne Novak sent one past Purple Raider goal keeper Kaitlyn Mallernee (Dover/Dover) in the near post.

Mallernee did have a solid performance to keep the Raiders in the game with eight saves on the night.

Mount Union next hosts Wilmington College for an OAC match Saturday at 7 p.m. at Mount Union Stadium.
